Realme 16 5G Poised for Pakistan Launch After Expanding to Another Global Market

Realme 16 5G should arrive in Pakistan soon. This newcomer has been scaling the global market for the past two months now. And they just started teasing it in the neighbor market. That puts Realme 16 5G right on track for the Pakistani launch.

Pakistan might be next once they are done with the Indian launch. The region already got an official date: April 2nd, Thursday. It’s possible that in the next few weeks, the Pakistani market will also welcome Realme 16 5G, or the series as a whole.

They call it an Air Design body, probably because of its 8.1mm thin 183 g build. The chassis is flat with a big radius at the corners. They are obviously going for a Google Pixel look here. And they call Realme 16 the Portrait Master because of its lens setup.

We can see three lenses on the camera island. But the official page only shares details for the two. The main lens is a 50MP OIS outsole. And the other is a color spectrum sensor. Of course, the Realme new 5G model's specialty is a rear selfie mirror. So that very same primary lens can take selfies.

Realme could’ve gotten away with the cheap front camera on the Realme 16 and used the special feature as an excuse to do so. But they stick with the same 50MP sensor they used on the Pro and Pro+, which was pretty generous of them.

The processing is done on a Dimensity 6400, and with this SoC, you have either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. This newcomer’s battery is 7000mAh. You’ll get two days’ worth of screen time. At least that’s what they advertise. Realme 16 5G can do 60W fast charging for backup.

There’s a medium 6.57” flat AMOLED display here. The newcomer’s refresh rate hits 120Hz at a basic 1080p FHD+ resolution. The body is sealed tight and passes the IP69K waterproof rating. The default OS Realme 16 carries is Android 16 with Realme UI 7.
