Oppo Reno 16 Series Global Launch Date and Availability Confirmed via Press Release

Oppo keeps teasing the Reno 16 series for a global launch. We did a coverage on the company’s partnership with the K-pop crew BABYMONSTER, though we didn’t have the exact release date at the time. But one of their recent newsroom posts confirmed the official schedule. This is what we learned.

These phones are supposed to come out on June 25th, which isn’t too far. They are playing it close to the vest, trying not to spoil the features. You would think that the newsroom press release would help, but there’s nothing even close to resembling a specification on the article.

One thing they did confirm, though, is the fact that these new handsets are coming to Thailand and Spain at the very start of the rollout. BABYMONSTER is a brand ambassador in only a few markets. South Korea is obviously one of them, and maybe some other regions in the neighborhood.

The rest of the press release just talks about the design. We are, however, somewhat informed on the presumed spec sheet of the alleged global Reno 16 and 16 Pro. Yes, these two phones are almost guaranteed in the lineup, but there’s also a chance of Oppo unveiling Reno 16 F and Reno 16 Pro Max. There’s very little known about the latter two. Find accurate and updated Oppo phone prices in Pakistan before making your next purchase.

Apparently, AI Remix Collage is one of the big features, which we expect might have something to do with the images in your camera roll. They didn’t talk much about this tool. There’s also a 50MP Ultrawide selfie camera on the phone. We know this for a fact because they’ve put it on a teaser.

The Chinese Reno 16 also has a 50MP 100˚ FoV selfie snapper. One more detail on the teaser was its OS. The lineup seems to run the new ColorOS 16, which is actually Android 16 at the core. We are already aware of their batteries.

There was a certification in the EU for both Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro. It was actually the EPREL database that gave up the phone’s battery capacities. They both seem to have the same 6000mAh cell. That’s an okay-ish size, yet the Reno 16 F, which is supposed to be at a lower rank, has 6500mAh. This might bat a few eyes. Keep watching the news so you don’t miss the launch coverage.
