Oppo Reno 15 Series Rumored to Include Three Devices, from Compact to Pro

Like the Oppo F31 family, the Reno 15 series is also expected to go beyond the usual Pro and vanilla range. There’s a new model on the way that sits between the Reno 15 and 15 Pro. A fresh leak from Weibo confirms the screen size of all three models under testing.

Since the Reno F model is typically considered a budget model, let’s omit it from the discussion for now. The leaker only mentions the upper-league Reno 15 line that’s headed to China. Digital Chat Station, the ever-reliable source, believes the new handset might be a compact one.

The lineup already brings phones in the 6.59” and 6.83” categories, case in point, the Reno 14 and 14 Pro. However, the Weibo leak proposes a new Mini handset with a display span of 6.3 inches. The middle phone might be the same size as last time, but the Pro version shrinks the screen.

From what the leaker exposed, the latest Oppo Reno mobile seems to have a smaller 6.78” display size this time, which is a few millimeters short of its usual scale. Other reports speculate that Oppo might reposition each variant, turning the smallest set into the vanilla model, the middle one into a Pro mini, and Reno 15 Pro maintaining the top rank as always.

He ended the leak by saying, “All are straight screens.” That means flat AMOLEDs on each phone. DCS didn’t mention anything else about them. We came across a few specs in the past, exclusive to the 6.3” Reno 15 and 6.78” Reno 15 Pro.

At the start of this month, the very same leaker reported a 200 MP Main camera on the Pro version. It’s supposed to be a Samsung ISOCELL HP5 outsole. DCS also outed a secondary camera on the phone, which seems to be a periscope multifold telephoto 50MP sensor.

Oppo will shake hands with MediaTek again, as it continues to push Dimensity 8 series chips on its Reno models. The leaker didn’t reveal the exact chip to be used on the Reno 15 Pro, but a Dimensity 8500 is our safest bet. Both phones are guaranteed to run Android 16 x Color OS 16. Expect the Chinese Reno 15 launch to happen in November. We suggest keeping an eye on the news for further details.
