Oppo A98 5G boasts a formidable hardware configuration, housing the Snapdragon 695 chipset, integrated with a generous 8GB of LPDDR4X internal memory and a spacious 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. With such ample memory at its disposal, the device effortlessly accommodates multiple applications in the background.

Additionally, the handset allows for “virtual memory expansion” that lets users add 8GB of excess storage-allocated RAM to store dormant apps. At the forefront, the Oppo A98 5G flaunts a remarkable 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen that exudes excellence.

With support for HDR10+ and a brightness of 600 nits, the phone ensures vibrant colors and striking contrast. What sets it apart is the seamless 120Hz refresh rate with a 360Hz touch sampling. It makes for a buttery-smooth ultra-responsive UI. Despite its high-end features, the Oppo phone's price remains competitive in the market.

Nested inside that discreet punch-hole is a high-res 32MP selfie camera, serving as one of the standout features of the A98. Meanwhile, positioned within the pill-shaped module on the rear, the A98 showcases a primary 64MP sensor, expertly accompanied by a 2MP DoF lens and 2MP macro shooter.

Embracing OPPO's iconic Glow design, the handset mesmerizes with a pristine and flawless appearance. The coating on the device is engineered to resist finger smudges and scratches.

Lastly, the phone sports a 5000mAh battery probed into a 67W SUPERVOOC charging kit. Oppo advertises 39 hours of phone calls, 8.4 hours of gaming, and 16 hours of YouTube streaming on a single charge. When drained, the battery can do 0-100% in 44 minutes. For UAE, Oppo A98 5G’s cost is DHS 1099 (~PKR 85,000).
