We’re only a week away from the official release of the Galaxy Z Fold3 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the official launch, its entire specification sheet and promo images were leaked online. So the leak leaves very little to the imagination.

Think of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 as a more polished Z Fold2. Its primary display is a 7.6” AMOLED panel that delivers a crisp QHD+ resolution and refreshes at 120Hz. It is free of holes or cutouts thanks to Samsung’s first 4MP under-display camera. The 6.2” cover screen fills a narrow aspect ratio.

Samsung has stepped up the durability of the Z Fold this year. The Galaxy Z Fold3 is the first in the series rated against water and dust — IPX8, to be specific. Gorilla Glass Victus protects the second screen. The Z Fold3 can last you five years if you fold and unfold it a hundred times every day. It’s offered in Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver colors.

When closed, the new Samsung mobile phone in 2021 is also slightly slimmer, down from 16.8mm to 14.4mm. Galaxy Z Fold3 weighs 271g, roughly the footprint of two phones stacked on top of each other. We find a convenient thumbprint reader on the side, pulling double-duty as the power button.

The smaller dimensions make for a slightly smaller battery size — 4400 mAh instead of 4500 mAh. You can quick-charge the Z Fold3 at 25W over the wire. Plus, it’s compatible with wireless charging. The cell powers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 inside, rounded off by 12GB of memory and 256GB/512GB of non-expandable storage.

On the back, we find a triple-camera arranged inside a pill housing. The Galaxy Z Fold3 features three 12MP lenses: a wide camera with OIS, a 123º ultrawide lens, and a 2x telephoto assisted with OIS. For selfies, the Z Fold3 has a 10MP on the cover screen. It’s reportedly priced at EUR 1899 (~ Rs. 366,700.)
