iPhone 18 Pro Series Tentative Launch Dates Appear; Here’s What to Expect

Apple just wrapped up showcasing everything they’ve been working on for the past year at the WWDC 2026 event. That’s where they announced the new Siri AI, and also debuted iOS 27. An announcement was made to release the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max in the fall this year. We saw a report that elaborated on the launch plans and timeline.

It would seem that Apple is bound to repeat the launch schedule of 2025, though it won’t unveil the same devices as last year. iPhone 18 is being pushed to the Spring of 2027. The phone will debut next to the iPhone 18e. There will be an event in September, though.

iPhone new model and Pro Max, and potentially the iPhone Ultra, could debut together in September. Apple has always stuck with this schedule. The month rarely changes, but dates sometimes do. That’s because Apple always tries to arrange the events on Tuesdays.

This year’s potential launch dates are September 8th (Tuesday), September 15th (Tuesday), or the iPhone 18 Pro series. We can’t put a stamp on it just yet, but Apple is very predictable and reliable with deadlines. Now, these are potentially debut dates.

The official sales for these devices, if we go by the same pattern as the previous years, should begin a week later. So we assume September 18th or September 25th are the market release dates. Of course, that’s assuming everything goes according to plan, which it usually does.

New upgrades on the iPhones: Cherry Red hero color, a bigger battery on the Pro Max, expected around 5000mAh+, and an Apple A20 silicon that’s now 2nm to keep up with the Exynos 2600. iPhone Ultra will potentially have the same Apple A20 chip, but the battery will be a larger 5500mAh since it has a bigger folding screen. Keep watching the news for more developments on the iPhone launch.
