We’ve seen plenty of CGI renders before, and they reach the same verdict. The Cherry Red color option is definitely coming to the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. But if there were still any lingering doubts, today’s report will clear everything up. We’ve found images of the glass camera shields made for the iPhone 18 Pro.

These are third-party protective shields for the iPhone 18 Pro’s camera island. The colors you see here should match the primary colors of said device. That being the case, we’ll probably see the iPhone 18 Pro in Dark Gray, Silver, and Sky Blue Shades.
But the pièce de résistance is the Dark Cherry hue, which is the new moody color they’ve chosen to replace the Cosmic Orange from the last series. That color has been the general topic of discussion every time someone talks about the iPhone 18 Pro.

There could be more colors, but at least the Glass Shield images confirmed the four main shades coming to this handset. The source of this leak is the familiar Naver blogger who goes by @yeux1122. Their post has been cited by other publications as well. So this leak must have some validity. Here is an estimated iPhone rate list based on recent data from whatmobile.
That’s not the only visual change, though. As it so happens, the rumor mill keeps bringing up images of iPhone 18 Pro dummies, which seem to have a smaller Dynamic Island cutout. There’s a chance that one of the Face ID sensors (probably the IR Matrix Emitter) is pushed under the screen.

That change means they can shrink the screen cutouts. That’s why the Dynamic Island could be less wide. But it has been made abundantly clear that after the major design overhaul of the iPhone 17 Pro series, they’ll probably stick to hardware upgrades this time, putting the brakes on the visual changes for now.
Battery size could go up on the iPhone 18 Pro. Reports advise a 5200mAh cell. Of course, the chipset levels up to Apple A20 Pro silicon. That is, apparently, a 2nm SoC. The new phones will probably show up with iOS 27. The software leans heavily on stability and performance fixes.
