Vivo Y60 is possibly a replacement for the discontinued Vivo Y50 that they launched back in 2020. It seems Vivo is trying to resurrect the dead lineup. Chinese phones under the BBK umbrella are known for being unpredictable. Anyway, this new Vivo Y60 handset is an entry-level 5G device with Android 16 and a big battery. We have all its details below.

Its screen is 6.74” IPS with only 720p HD+ resolution, something we’ve seen many times on Vivo phones, though it’s surprisingly a downgrade coming from the Y50’s 1080p FHD+ display in 2020. Just goes to show you how the standards have fallen.
The Y60 has a 120Hz refresh rate, which won’t be a problem for the phone’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip to handle. There’s 8GB max LPDDR4X RAM here and 256GB storage. App opening speeds benefit from the phone’s UFS 3.1 storage module.

Just like we said, the phone will make up for those drawbacks with its huge 6500mAh battery. That kind of capacity is known for lasting two days. Y60’s 15W charging will be slow, so it’s a good thing you only have to charge it once every two days. This newcome also has the very recent Android 16 Origin OS 6 UI. As of may 2026, here is the latest Vivo price list in Pakistan that features the flagship X300 Pro, and the premium V70/V70 FE series.
There seems to be a single 13MP rear camera on the back, and the screenside carries a 5MP unit. That is, unfortunately, the current bare minimum for entry-level phones these days. The phone does have some AI features to spice up the optics.

SGS cleared this Vivo Y60 for a 5-star shockproof design. And the company secured an official IP65 rating for it. It’s at least safe from minor rain and water spills. The handset does bring an infrared remote tool and a fingerprint reader on the side for quick access.
You’ll need to develop some muscle memory for its 8.4mm thickness and 209 gram weight. We do have WiFi 5 here for fast WLAN speeds, and you can use wired headphones on it as well. Vivo Y60’s base price is a bit too ambitious, though. It will cost CNY 1,799 (~PKR 73,000). A phone like this should cost way less.
