A teaser recently confirmed that Vivo is about to launch the Y600 Pro with a massive battery in the neighborhood of 10,000mAh. The exact size was not mentioned, but a leaker shortly afterwards exposed the accurate capacity and a few of the Vivo Y600 Pro’s key specs. This is everything we know about the device.

The source of this leak is the ever-reliable Digital Chat Station. So the details are believed to be accurate. We are already past the six-month anniversary of the Vivo Y500 Pro that came out in mid-November. That means the next version could be released any day now.
DCS predicted that the new Vivo latest Y model has a total capacity of 10,200mAh. There are barely any other devices in China or the global market with that kind of battery on a consumer handset. Redmi and Honor have one or two handsets in the same class.

We believe Vivo is going for a record here. They are pairing that huge cell with an efficient Dimensity 7300e chip at a 2.5GHz boost clock. There was already a teaser for the camera. Vivo Y600 Pro is supposed to use a 50MP main camera.
The leaker says there could be a second 50MP shooter, though we aren’t exactly sure if it’s the selfie snapper or a secondary rear lens. By the way, the screen on this handset is a huge 6.83” OLED. This is going to be a 1.5K or 1200p resolution display.
Again, they are trying to keep the hardware as efficient as possible. That’s why the screen is LTPS. There were no other useful tips on the leaker’s post. But other rumors do suggest a possible 90W charging support for the battery.
The design was already shown in one of the official teasers. The newcomer looks very similar to the former Vivo Y500 Pro, which also had a circular camera ring on the back. We’ll soon have an official launch date for this device. Keep watching the news for updates.
