Xiaomi 17 Max Design and Color Options Emerge as Pre-orders Go Live in China

Xiaomi 17 Max’s debut is pending, but the company did reveal its Chinese launch window and the design in one of their latest teasers. They’ve also opened the pre-orders for it in the homemarket. This newcomer will reach the buyers later this month. This is everything we know about Xiaomi 17 Max so far.

The design is familiar. It looks like the old vanilla Xiaomi 15, and the back doesn’t seem to have a secondary display. The phone will use a flat 6.9” screen that has very thin bezels. There are at least three color options planned for this handset: White, Clear Sky Blue, and Pixel black.

The renders that popped up in teasers show exactly what each color looks like. The pre-order began just a few hours ago in China, exactly on 13th May, and they’ve said an official launch event will happen in due course, before they start the shipment process.

We’ve heard rumors of a 6.9” OLED plenty of times. This is probably a 120Hz panel with LTPO variable refresh rate. And the Xiaomi 17 Max’s resolution could be 1.5K. The latter actually matches the rest of the devices in the series. But we do have to remind you that these are rumored specs. To check the Xiaomi rate list of smartphones in Pakistan, featuring popular Redmi and Note series, visit our website.

The chipset inside Xiaomi 17 Max could be a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. That’s a 4.6 GHz big Oryon core SoC. And there’s an Adreno 840 GPU inside it, which is the world’s fastest gaming platform for Android. This newcomer is a proper flagship handset by every metric.

Because the Xiaomi 17 Max doesn’t have any extra components for the second screen on the back, it will probably fit an 8,000 mAh battery. This was also found in a leak before the teasers spree began. It will also keep 100W wired charging and 50W wireless input from the original.

The official launch details are limited. We’ll surely have more updates for you down the wire, as we learn more about the Xiaomi 17 Max. There’s still some important information missing about the global launch. So stay tuned for further developments.
