Infinix launched the GT 30 Pro back in June, but the company is still working on a base model. The vanilla Infinix GT 30 5G+ should be unveiled soon, now that it has started appearing in teasers. We have just found an official render that confirmed the phone’s design, and even exposed its capacitive gaming triggers.
The newcomer steals its look from the Pro with identical RGB strips and the camera island, but there are minute differences to tell them apart. Its backplate has a carbon fiber pattern around the edges. The Pro featured the same aggressive design in Dark Flare color, but the vanilla GT 30 will be painted in green with red markings all over the back.
That vortex pattern at the center probably hides a magnetic ring for the cooling fan accessory. Another render previews the side profile, where you can see the two shoulder triggers clear as day. At least functionally, the newcomer seems on par with the Pro variant.
Infinix hasn’t revealed its specs yet, but the GT 30 5G has already made a cameo on several regulatory platforms, and some of them even gave away its key specs. The Geekbench and Google Play Console spilled the tea on its chip and display info.
Apparently, the phone is built around a Dimensity 7400 chip, which is a 4nm 2.6GHz processor with Mali G615 MP2 for the GPU. The Infinix GT new model will pair that SoC with 8GB RAM, and out of the box, we might get to see Android 15. As for the display, there’s a possibility of a 1224 x 2720p resolution screen with 480ppi pixel density.
The phone is supposed to carry dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) with your typical Bluetooth and NFC chip. The base GT 30 model could offer 128GB storage, and the more expensive one will have 256GB ROM. TUV certification gave away its battery specs, too.
There will be a 5200mAh battery inside the GT 30, which is no longer a standard among gaming phones. This battery can be plugged into a 45W fast charging kit. The phone has even received certification from Krafton that says it will be able to run PUBG at 90fps. Its price tag is expected to be around $230 (~PKR 65,000). We now await the phone’s official launch, which might happen in a few days. Stay tuned for updates.
