Infinix GT 30 Pro came out in May with a Dimensity 8350 chip and a 144Hz refresh rate. The gaming phone has been riding solo in the global market so far, but soon, it will be joined by another member. Geekbench reveals that a vanilla Infinix GT 30 might be on its way.
The benchmark’s database was updated last night with a new Infinix device under model number “X6876.” This is believed to be the base GT 30 variant, or at least that’s what a recent EEC certification confirms. It’s a decent mid-range performer from the looks of it.
The Geekbench results for the GT 30 aren’t quite gaming-worthy, but with the new Dimensity 7400 chip, who knows what this phone has in store for hardcore gamers? As far as we know, Geekbench tested the handset with 1079 single-core points and 3082 points in the multi-core benchmark.
This is certainly a step down from GT 30 Pro’s performance, which, by the way, scores around 1400 on single and roughly 4000 points in multi-core tests. But we saw this downgrade coming a mile away, seeing the Infinix latest GT model’s ranking in the status quo.
The eight-core platform with a 4 x 2.6GHz core cluster seems to be the new Dimensity 7400 (4nm) chip. You can find all the details about it on the official MediaTek page. It seems to carry an ARM Mali-G615 MC2 dedicated GPU, which has a 1000MHz clock speed.
Other details we found on the Geekbench listing were the OS version and physical RAM. This phone is supposed to come with at least 8GB of RAM and Android 15 version right out of the box. There’s a possibility of a 12GB RAM variant as well, but there’s no official confirmation for it.
As was the case with Infinix GT 30 Pro, which was seen on Geekbench just one month before its launch, the base GT 30 might do the same. It could launch in late July or possibly in August. We are keeping our ears to the ground for an official confirmation. Stay tuned for more leaks in the meantime.
