Infinix GT 30 Unveiled with 144Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 7400 Chip & GT Shoulder Triggers

Infinix GT 30 has just been unveiled overseas with the Cyber Mecha design borrowed from the Pro variant. The rear shield has white customizable LEDs, and the right edge is mounted with dual GT shoulder triggers. It’s a gaming phone, so Infinix paid special attention to its thermals.

This vanilla GT 30 model has gone official in the Indian market first, but it’s only a matter of time before it starts appearing in other regions. Both the first and second-generation GT phones from Infinix made it to Pakistan. We assume the GT 30 will be heading to our market in no time.

The newcomer checks all the right boxes for a gaming phone. There’s an aggressive design to draw attention. A semi-flagship chip handles the performance. And the phone itself is built around a high refresh rate 144Hz AMOLED for smooth visuals.

The screen is 6.78” in size with 1.5K resolution, which is a decent fit for gamers. Up to 4500 nits peak HDR brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i are features we rarely see in this price bracket. Among other specs, we have a 13MP punch hole selfie camera on the Infinix GT new model and a fingerprint ID.

We’ve only seen a few devices this year with a Dimensity 7400 SoC, and the Infinix GT 30 is one of them. There’s a Mali-G615 MP2 GPU inside this chip, which clocks at up to 1.3GHz. It can get pretty hot while gaming, so the phone uses a 6-layer 3D vapor cooling chamber to control the heat.

For PUBG, at least, this newcomer has been promised 90FPS support out of the box from KRAFTON. You can also map in-game actions with the phone’s dual customizable shoulder buttons. From the get-go, GT 30 boots to an Android 15 (XOS 15) system, and Infinix has promised 2 years of OS support for it.

The phone is rated IP64, which provides minor water protection, though it is completely safe from dust ingress. There’s a 5500mAh battery within, rechargeable with a 45W adapter. Price-wise, the Infinix GT 30 8/128GB trim starts at roughly $222 (~PKR 63,000) and the 256GB model goes up to $240 (~PKR 68,000).
