Infinix GT 30 Key Features Confirmed Before Official Debut on August 8th

Infinix GT 30 will be unveiled this week on August 8th. An official product listing overseas has revealed almost everything there is to know about this device. The newcomer fits the description of a modern gaming phone with an eccentric design, dedicated shoulder triggers, and a high-end processor. Infinix GT devices like this tend to arrive in Pakistan eventually, so here’s what you can expect from the GT 30.

We were already familiar with its design, which was officially teased by the company last week. It looks the same as the GT 30 Pro, except for the Green paint job and a few distinguishing elements. Infinix is, however, planning to swap out the chip on the GT 30.

The phone apparently has a 4nm Dimensity 7400 chip, which scores roughly 779,000+ points on AnTuTu. How well these numbers translate to gaming performance is anyone’s guess at this point. What we do know is that the GT 30 will get official support from KRAFTON for 90FPS scaling in PUBG.

You can see the customizable gaming triggers on the Infinix GT new model, which can be remapped for a number of in-game actions. Also, the phone is flush with utilities like AI Magic Voice Changer, ZoneTouch Master, Esports Mode, Performance Modes, and more. These are part of the Infinix XOS 15 system, by the way.

The phone’s chip will also drive its 144Hz AMOLED screen, which seems to have the same 6.78” size as the GT 30 Pro. This panel has a 1.5K resolution, so it’s going to have excellent visual fidelity. On paper at least, the phone has 4500 nits of brightness, though we doubt it will actually reach those numbers, except when you are watching HDR content.

The dedicated microsite where we found all these details also spilled the tea on storage and RAM options. The GT 30 seems to have a solo memory trim with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB storage. Also, the phone has Pulse Green, Cyber Blue, and Blade White colors.

Some specs, like the camera, charging speed, and battery capacity, are still elusive. There’s also no word from the company about the handset’s price or availability. All will be revealed in time. Stay tuned for the phone’s launch on August 8th. We’ll be covering the Infinix GT 30 in depth once it has officially debuted.
