Galaxy S26 Ultra Case Leak Shows Design Changes Samsung’s Still Keeping Under Wraps

No doubt you have already seen the potential design for Galaxy S26 Ultra. It’s been going viral on the internet for months. In the past, we’ve found many renders and some dummy units across the leaks, but today, we bring you a Case Maker’s listing. Their Galaxy S26 Ultra preview, despite being encased in a protective shell, was pretty thorough. Here are the new details we found.

Thinborne is a famous case-making company, which, as implied by the name, crafts very light and thin protective shells for Galaxy devices and iPhones. They may have gotten a blueprint for Galaxy S26 Ultra a bit early to design cases for it, and now there’s an official listing out there, giving us an early peek.

Most of the phone is familiar. It’s still a larger brick, and there’s still a penta lens camera stack on the rear at the top corner. But one difference you’ll note right off the bat is that the three main lenses are now raised slightly above the chassis.

Samsung is making this device thinner, but not at the expense of camera hardware. That is going to remain the same. So the sensor depth is just the same as before, even thicker if we look at the claimed numbers, but the body of the Samsung new Ultra model is overall thinner and lighter.

There’s also a substack of lenses outside the island where you’ll see the usual 3X telephoto and ToF sensors. We’ll have some other changes as well. Like the corner radius, which they say is going to get even rounder. But we couldn’t see that in Thinborne’s renders. They show an old boxy design instead.

It’s odd since the experts say Samsung will never go back to the boxy corner design, not in the near future at least. Galaxy S25 Ultra switched it out this year. The two in-hand images from Thinborne’s site keep true to that style, but the rest of their CG renders aren’t as precise.

The case maker also shows the Qi2 wireless charging support on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, something we’ve been waiting for. Samsung will finally join the Pixel and iPhone crowd, but there is still one caveat. The magnets might interfere with the S Pen, so they are skipping Mag accessories for now. We'll share more updates with you as they come, so keep watching the news.
