The affordable Galaxy S25 FE recently appeared on a Portuguese retail site. Moments before the product listing vanished, likely due to Samsung’s intervention, the newcomer revealed almost all of its specifications. Here’s everything you should know about this device before it launches.
This was just a rumor before, but it has now been confirmed by the retailer that Galaxy S25 FE will use an Exynos 2400 SoC. That same chip was found on Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus back in the day, so expect a similar performance out of the new “Fan Edition” model.
The starter RAM and storage will be capped at 8GB and 128GB. The listing also confirmed an OLED screen on this handset. Apparently, the Galaxy S25 FE still uses the old 6.7” display with FHD+ resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s design is kept the same, and so is the screen-to-body ratio.
Gorilla Glass Victus+ will be making a comeback. The thickness has been reduced to 7.4mm, yet the new Samsung FE mobile brings a higher charge capacity at 4900mAh. The S25 FE is officially rated for 28 hours of video playback, which is almost as good as the vanilla S25 and S25 Plus.
The rumors about the selfie camera getting an upgrade were true. Samsung finally decided to get rid of the old 10MP outsole and move on to a 12MP shooter on the S25 FE. Sadly, we don’t see any enhancements on the rear lens assembly.
From what we saw on the listing, the back camera setup has a 50MP Alpha Unit, 8MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide sensors. Again, it’s all powered by a 4900mAh cell, which appears to recharge with a faster 45W input on the latest Galaxy S25 FE.
Only a navy blue color was seen on the webpage, but we already know there are at least four finishes on the cards for S25 FE. Of course, it’s an S series flagship, so it will feature Galaxy AI bundled with tools like Gemini Live or Circle to Search. As was the case with the Galaxy S24 FE that preceded it, performance and retail value are anticipated to perform well.
