Xiaomi Redmi 15 has finally arrived in Pakistan, following the 15C variant. It’s a bit more expensive, but we have a far superior display, chipset, and battery on the standard Redmi 15. The only storage option deployed in the market is 8/128GB, but there’s a great selection of colors here. This is everything you should know about the Redmi 15.

Redmi 15’s connectivity is limited to 4G LTE in Pakistan. It’s the first model in the family with a 144Hz refresh rate. The newcomer is built around a huge 6.9” IPS display on the front with 1080p resolution and 850 nits of brightness. The bezels around it are fairly symmetrical, sans the bottom chin.

The only intrusion on this screen is a punch hole, which hides an 8MP selfie shooter. Redmi 15 has a well-crafted design rated with an official IP64 rating. Midnight Black, Titan Gray, and Sandy Purple are a few color options you can choose if you decide to buy this handset.

The chamfered design and rectangular camera island look modern. This Redmi budget new mobile may appear to have three lenses, but only one is functional. Xiaomi pairs a 50MP main unit with an assistive sensor on the Redmi 15. You can record 1080p 30FPS videos from the front and back.

This newcomer is 8.4mm thick, which is to be expected as it hosts a 7000mAh battery inside. Once you recharge the cell using its 33W fast charger, the Redmi 15 will easily last you two days on light usage. But it’s still a budget device, so expect an entry-tier performance.

The phone uses a 6nm Snapdragon 685 SoC to run the default Hyper OS 2. This chip keeps the data connection limited to 4G LTE. The platform is based on eight cores and a peak clock speed of 2.3GHz. An Adreno 610 GPU handles the gaming load, not to forget the 8GB RAM to help with multitasking.

Redmi 15 doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack since the focus is a waterproof design. Still, you get an SD card slot, a single speaker, and an Infrared ID at the top to control electronic appliances at home. The fingerprint is on the side, and the WiFi is 5GHz. Redmi 15 (8/128GB) is priced at Rs 45,999 in Pakistan, which is more than adequate.
