Xiaomi Redmi 15C and its Poco Twin Certified Together as Images Hit the Web

Xiaomi will soon unveil a new device called the “Redmi 15C.” It’s bound to replace the ultra-budget Redmi 14C that came out in August last year, priced at ~$120. We’ve found some official-looking renders that allegedly belong to its successor. The phone even got certified in Thailand and the US. All signs point to the Redmi 15C headed for a global launch.

Here’s a quick peek at Redmi 15C’s renders to give you an idea of how it looks. It’s a simple design with straight borders and a notched display on the front. Nothing we haven’t seen before. The only unique thing about this phone is the stylistically handwritten text on the back that says “Redmi 15C.”

The images, sourced from nieuwemobiel, not only gave away the design but also confirmed that there are at least four color options in the mix. The publication also wrote about its storage and RAM, which is limited to 128GB with 4GB of memory. There’s always a possibility of more configurations, but no one on the internet knows how many.

Xiaomi's latest budget mobile shares its model number with another device, which is called Poco C85. Both phones were seen on the NBTC database in Thailand, and they have resembling codes: “25078RA3EA” for the Redmi 15C and “25078PC3EG” for the Poco C85.

The NBTC certification is proof enough that Redmi 15C and Poco C85 are actually the same models, with only the labels switched out. The regulatory body also confirms that both phones are 4G LTE-based, but this is the only fact we learned about the newcomers from Thai certification.

Luckily, the Redmi 15C was also seen on the FCC certification a few days ago, which helped us find a few other details about it. We know for a fact that this phone has a 6.9” HD+ LCD on the front. There’s an Android 15 OS running on the 15C by default, and a 6000mAh battery keeps it powered on.

This is a full version of the Android 15 operating system wrapped in a Hyper OS 2.0 skin. Another fact revealed by the FCC is 33W fast charging support on the new Redmi mobile. While we wait for the Redmi 15C to go official, stick around for more updates regarding its specs, availability, and pricing.
