The tech grapevine's latest whisper are about Xiaomi's upcoming flagship. The giant, no stranger to pioneering moves, is looking to be among the early adopters of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip via their forthcoming Xiaomi 14 Pro. Earlier, the rumor mill churned out tidbits about its design and innards, but now we also have the screen stats.

Courtesy of the leak scout, Kartikey Singh, we get the lowdown. Xiaomi 14 Pro plans to flaunt a 6.7-inch Micro Quad Curved 2K C8 display with dynamic 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rates. Protecting the visor will be the robust Gorilla Glass Victus 2. About the edges - think slinky with its ultra-svelte 1mm bezels.

With a luminance that can rival the sunniest days, the Xiaomi 14 Pro's 3000-nit glow comes packed with HDR 10+, Full Link Dolby Vision, and Pro Colour Vibes. Plus, for nocturnal consumers, the 2K+Hz PWM dimming is a sight for sore eyes.

Beyond its luminous front, the Xiaomi 14 Pro isn't skimping on its inner prowess. The device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 brain. Memory antics range up to 24GB, rocking the LPDDR5x bandwidth and storage that stretches up to a colossal 1TB (UFS 4.0). Fueling this new Xiaomi 5G mobile is a 4,860mAh powerhouse, rumored to sizzle with 120W fast charging.

Connectivity goes cosmic with potential satellite features, while MIUI 15 on Android 14 keeps the software game up-to-date. And for shutterbugs, a trio of 50-megapixel cameras awaits — a primary IMX989 sensor, an ultrawide partner, and a telemacro shooter. Stay tuned, tech fans, because the Xiaomi 14 Pro saga is just getting started. More leaks are on their way.
