Xiaomi 12 Lite is the more budget-friendly option in Xiaomi’s flagship Xiaomi 12 line. The phone has been rumored and certified multiple times already. And the Xiaomi 12 Lite was just featured in hands-on photos. Plus, the pre-release benchmarks uncover the performance details.

A source based in China published the photos showcasing the Xiaomi 12 Lite from different angles. Xiaomi 12 Lite has sharp, flat edges and narrow bezels. The phone pictured in this leak is a matte gray colorway. Also, the camera layout is more or less identical to the standard Xiaomi 12’s. It’s a sleek, polished, and premium design overall.

Turn the phone over to find its O-hole display. It’s a flat 6.55” AMOLED that features a 1080P resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. The bezel encasing this display is thin and uniform. Dual speakers deliver surround sound, and an IR blaster serves as a remote control. Lastly, the rear camera cluster features 108MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro shooters.

The pre-release benchmarks for the latest lite Xiaomi mobile have also popped up on Geekbench, a popular cross-platform benchmark. The listing specifies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G at the heart of this phone, powered over a 4500 mAh battery and 67W rapid charging support.

Android 12 x MIUI runs on the phone on the first boot. When engaging all cores, the Xiaomi 12 manages a respectable 2864 points and hits 788 points on single-core tests. We should learn more details in the coming weeks.
