Vivo Y21, from Vivo's new line of budget phones, is headed to Pakistan soon. WhatMobile trusted sources dug up the launch timeline. Since the Vivo Y20's new successor is out in several markets, we already have the specs and expected pricing to report.

Vivo Y21 is slated for debut in Pakistan on November 9. Because it’s a budget phone, we expect a quiet launch without much fanfare. Let’s review what the Y21 has to offer.

The phone sports a flat 2.D chassis, featuring sharp, chrome edges. You can pick from the simple Metallic Blue or the geometric Diamond Glow finishes. At 182g of weight and 8mm of depth, the Vivo Y21 has a lightweight footprint. Two lenses and an LED flash are housed inside the raised camera platform.

We’re looking at a cluster of 13MP wide and 2MP super macro cameras. The 8MP front camera lives in the notch. Vivo Y21 can shoot in portrait, super HDR, and beauty modes.

The screen is a 6.51” IPS LCD that fills a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, an 89% screen-to-body ratio, and a 720P resolution. The manufacturer has built a blue light filter into the display to protect your eyes. The side power button on the new addition to the Vivo price list doubles as the fingerprint scanner. The front lens also serves the Face Wake feature.

Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery that charges over 18W technology. Vivo Y21 can also reverse charge other devices. Plus, the VEG feature extends battery life. The chipset inside the Vivo Y21 is Helio P35. You get 4GB of memory and 128GB/64GB of internal storage.

Ultra Game Mode makes for a streamlined, smooth gaming experience. FunTouchOS 11 (based on Android 11) powers the Vivo Y21. WhatMobile puts its starting price anywhere between Rs. 26,999 to 29,999.
