The global launch of Vivo’s flagship X60 series started in Malaysia today. This lineup features Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro, leaving out the X60 Pro+. Vivo is also launching the series in Pakistan soon, starting with the X60 Pro.

Photography is the one big highlight of this flagship line. Vivo has co-engineered the X60 Pro camera with Zeiss to integrate a miniaturized gimbal into it. The technology, often reserved for high-end video cameras and GoPros, uses a 5-axis gimbal that rotates independently of your hand movements, minimizing shakes and blur.

An advanced stabilization contributes to not just better videos but also other modes. Vivo X60 Pro offers fast autofocus in the Pro Sports Mode, sharper and clearer night mode photos (even in the ultra-wide), time-lapse, and long exposure modes. The selfie camera is 32MP.

As for the specifications, the X60 Pro has a triple camera system: The main camera has a wide f/1.48 aperture and a 48MP sensor behind it. The other two cameras on the Vivo new model 2021 are 13MP: one super macro, the other 120-degree ultra-wide.

The camera island lives inside a curved glass shell with a satin AG finish. X60 Pro comes in two shades, Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue (which shimmers in head-turning hues.) The whole body is only 7.59mm thick and weighs just 177g.

Out on the front, the O-hole screen curves along its edges. It’s a 6.56” 1080P OLED panel, made responsive with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling.

Vivo X60 Pro has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset at its heart, powered by a 4200 mAh battery and 33W FlashCharge. It comes in a single 12GB/256GB UFS 3.1 configuration and starts from RM 3299 or about Rs. 124,000.
