Vivo X60 Series is Launching Globally this Month; Flagship Chips and High-end Cameras

Vivo X60, Vivo's latest flagship series from last year, is going global soon. The media invites for the upcoming launch event are already out. The Vivo X60 series, presumably featuring the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+ is launching globally on March 22. It'll go on sale in Malaysia first and is set to debut in India on March 25.

The New X60 Series is unlikely to arrive in Pakistan and there is no official word on it either. Vivo X60 Pro Plus is currently the highest-end, most premium phone in the product catalog. The expected price in the international markets converts to something around Rs. 130,000 to 140,000 PKR.

The X60 Pro+ is built with a focus on performance and photography. Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 888 is at the heart of this device, powered by a 4200 mAh battery and 55W fast charging. The Pro+ has a 6.56” AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and a full HD resolution. It curves along the edges, and a thin, even bezel surrounds it.

The hole-punch in the center of the X60 Pro Plus display houses a 32MP front camera. Around the back, we find a 50MP f/1.6 wide lens, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, a 32MP standard telephoto sensor (featuring gimbal stabilization), and an 8MP periscope-telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS. Vivo X60 Pro is a slightly trimmed-down edition of Vivo X60 Pro+. It features the 5nm Exynos 1080 chip, a 4200 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging technology. But the design, memory/storage, and display are more or less the same as the Pro+.

The X60 Pro is also made from a blend of aluminum and glass and has a 120Hz, 1080P 6.56” AMOLED screen. But its camera system is different: 48MP wide camera, 13MP portrait sensor, 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP periscope-telephoto lens with 5x zooming.

In a similar vein as before, the standard Vivo X60 is a tweaked X60 Pro. It has the same Exynos 1080P chip, 6.56” AMOLED screen, 33W fast charging, and 4300 mAh. Even the camera array has a 48MP wide camera, 13MP portrait camera, and 13MP ultra-wide lens, but the setup lacks a periscope-style telephoto camera.
