It appears that Samsung's entry-tier catalog is all set to receive the Android 13 update. Unlike its pricier A-series and S-series models, Galaxy A1x and A0x phones update the operating system late. The update launched yesterday overhauls the Samsung Galaxy A13. So far, Samsung's the only chain to update an entry-level smartphone to Android 13.

With the updated firmware version A135FXXU2BVL2, the One UI 5 update includes all the google-based Android 13 features and many security vulnerabilities fixed in the November 2022 patch. With the promise of more to come, the Korean OEM has already seeded the update to multiple European and Asian regions.

The Android 13 X OneUI 5.0 OTA will soon reach Pakistan. Upon availability, your Samsung Galaxy A13 will receive an alert to initiate the installation. On the contrary, if you feel like doing it later, open the Settings app on the phone, head on to "Software updates," and tap the "Download and Install" button. Your A13 will take care of the rest. Here's a quick rundown of updated features.

The Ul has undergone minor changes in the OS update, including the expanded color palette drawn from wallpapers, more prominent notification icons, and better blur effects. The recent accumulation of the Samsung rate list can now stack widgets, customize the lock screen, and includes additional toggles in the quick settings. Users will now also experience smoother animations.

OneUI 5.0, the new OS upgrade for the Galaxy A13, works well with the device's hardware. A13's specifications highlight an Exynos 850 processor, a Corning Gorilla Glass-protected 6.6-inch LCD screen, and a quad-lens setup for the camera with 50+5+2+2 Megapixels. It packs a 5000mAh cell + 25W fast charging at the current price of 43,999/- PKR in Pakistan, just 13,000 less than the Samsung A32's official retail price.
