The Realme GT 7 series is coming to Pakistan soon, and official teasers have started popping up on social media to confirm it. There are two phones in the series. One of them is the premium Realme GT 7 Pro, and the other is a slightly more affordable Realme GT 7.
Both phones come at different price points but pack flagship-grade hardware, massive batteries, and the best displays you can find on a modern phone. Here’s everything you need to know about these newcomers before they arrive in the local market.
Realme GT 7 Pro
This is a device built around a Samsung Eco 2 OLED+ screen at 6.78”, which saves battery with an LTPO variable refresh rate of 120Hz. There’s also HDR and Dolby Vision on this very bright 2000nit display, and we see a 120% DCI-P3 gamut with some color saturation. We have a 1.5K resolution on this screen and a Gorilla Glass 7i on the front.
Realme GT 7 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Elite inside. This flagship SoC is prone to heat, so the company gave the device a 11480mm² dual VC cooling chamber, the biggest we’ve seen in the segment so far. This chip is also quite power-hungry, so Realme GT 7 Pro brings a larger 6500mAh cell (rechargeable at 120W).
With the bigger battery and a massive cooling chamber comes more thickness. The phone measures ~8.55mm in profile, which is quite bulky. There’s also a 50 MP 3X periscope telephoto on the Realme GT 7 Pro. Then, we have a 50 MP main lens and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor on that same camera island.
This phone can snap photos even when submerged in the water, all thanks to its IP69 rating and the dedicated underwater photo mode. Realme UI 6.0 x Android 15 is available on this handset at first boot, so it gets you all the latest Google functions and Realme’s AI features. The company promises three major Android updates for the Realme GT 7 Pro.
Realme GT 7
Both devices look almost identical from the front, but the display specs are a bit different. There’s no variable refresh rate on this device, but it does have a higher clock speed at 144Hz. The AMOLED panel on Realme GT 7 has up to 1800 nits of typical brightness with 1.5K resolution, and the display size is slightly bigger than the Pro at 6.8 inches.
This high refresh rate AMOLED is also intense for the battery since it doesn’t have LTPO technology. But the Realme GT 7 has you covered with a much bigger 7200mAh battery. The device won’t run out of juice for extended periods. It also recharges fast at 100W and allows Bypass Charging to save the battery from overheating.
There’s also a layer of graphene and conductive glass fiber to dissipate heat during use. The Dimensity 9400+ chip inside the new Realme model needs all the cooling it can get due to its overclocked state and 3.7GHz frequency. Even though there’s a bigger battery inside this device, it’s still thinner than the Pro at ~8.3mm.
The camera specs on this device are slightly toned down. Realme GT 7 has two cameras on the back (50MP + 8MP ultrawide), and the front shooter comes with a 16MP selfie sensor. Its fingerprint reader is Ultrasonic, we have WiFi 7 here, and an infrared remote is also available on the handset. There’s also Android 15 x Realme UI 6 present on this device out of the box.
The company will soon reveal the series’ launch date in Pakistan and might drop some clues about its storage options and price tags shortly. So stay tuned for Realme’s upcoming flagship foray in the Pakistani market.
