The latest arrival in Realme's budget-sensitive C-series, the Realme C17 has just gone official in Bangladesh. WhatMobile’s local sources report that the C17 is coming to Pakistan next. It combines Realme's new design language with a solid display and battery, making for a promising value pick.

Unlike the Realme C11 & C12's notched screen, the C17 comes with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display, featuring a 90% screen-to-body ratio and a fluid 90Hz refresh rate — not typical of the entry-level segment.

It’s a standard LCD screen that only reaches an HD+ resolution, however. The panel is edge-to-edge, save for the mid-sized chin. Realme has poked a hole in the C17's display to house the front camera.

The battery capacity of Realme C17 is 5,000 mAh, powered by 18W Quick Charge and Reverse Charging support. It can last as many as 34 days on standby and 18.6 hours of video streaming. Software augmentation using the ‘Super Power Saving Mode’, just 5% of battery life on the Realme C12 sibling can be stretched to 4.6 hours of Spotify.

Unlike its battery performance, the Realme C17 isn’t a processing beast. It has the modest Snapdragon 460 chipset at its heart — the latest in Qualcomm’s 400 series. Multi-tasking is handled by up to 6GB of memory and there’s 128GB of storage onboard.

The camera setup on C17 by Realme is decent but not exceptional. It has a 13MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and two extra lenses: one for macro shots and one for portraits. Selfies are taken with an 8MP sensor. The quad-camera is supported by dedicated photography modes, including the 'Super Nightscape Mode'.

The design is muted, elegant, but ultimately forgettable. It's yet another a recycled layout: a big, oversized camera plate on a plastic back, painted in a glossy aesthetic. Available in Lake Green and Navy Blue, both colorways have a sunburst highlight raying out from under the camera and reaching the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Realme C17 boots to the latest, newly-upgraded realmeUI. All set to launch in Pakistan on the 23rd of September, Realme c17's opening price is expected to be Rs. 31,999.
