OPPO Find X5 Series Featured in Unofficial Product Renders; Specs Also Leaked

OPPO is reportedly skipping the number four and naming their next-generation Find X flagship series the ‘Find X5.’ The Find X5 line (like always) features the OPPO Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro. But a ‘Lite’ edition will follow later too. The Find X5 was just featured in high-quality unofficial product images.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as @OnLeaks, published the OPPO Find X Pro mockups based on early prototype designs. We also have some of the specs to report. Let’s take a quick look.

The design hasn’t changed all that much from the last-gen Find X3. We’re still looking at a camera bump that’s carved out of the phone’s casing. But this time, the housing has an almost oblong shape. And OPPO has finished the backplate with a grainy texture.

Three lenses and two LED flashes live inside the camera island. The rear camera system on the latest Find OPPO mobile is an array of 50MP+50MP+13MP lenses. The front camera is 32MP.

Flip the phone over to reveal its mildly curved display and hole-punch cutout. The screen is a 6.78” panel, surrounded by minimal, slim bezels. It’s a 120Hz, 1080P display, presumably running OPPO’s proprietary full-path color management system.

OPPO Find X5 has the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 at its heart — their first competitive flagship chip from MediaTek. It’s powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 80W wired charging. At least 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage rounds off the X5. The Find X5 Pro, on the other hand, features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and up to 125W charging. The Find X5 series is supposed to debut in March 2022.
