OPPO Find X5 Pro Featured in More Real-World Photos Showcasing the Silver & Black Editions

Oppo Find X5 Pro was photographed in the wild recently, giving us a cropped view of its front and back. The photos featured the Ceramic White edition of the phone. But the upcoming edition to the Oppo price list also comes in mirror polished Black and Silver finishes. And both these editions were also pictured over the weekend.

Oppo has been very conservative with the design changes this year. We’re looking at the familiar one-piece casing. The camera bump appears to be sculpted from the shell once again. But instead of a regular boxy shape, Oppo Find X5 Pro has an oblong protrusion sticking out from one corner. It features a cluster of LED flashes and lenses.

The silver finish has a glossy, reflective character to it. The same goes for the black version, which is also polished like a mirror. Of course, you can expect the phone to attract fingerprints like one too. Note that product mockups based on leak prototypes perfectly align with these live shots.

We can make out no less than three different brandings stamped on the phone. ‘Powered by MariSilicon,’ ‘Hasselblad,’ and ‘Oppo’ are all prominently displayed on the casing. It will mark Oppo’s first co-engineered camera with the Hasselblad firm. OnePlus (now Oppo’s sub-brand) has partnered up with Hasselblad twice already.

Unlike the Snapdragon 778G on the Oppo Reno 7, the Find X5 Pro rocks the Snapdragon 8 gen 1. The ‘MariSilicon’ refers to Oppo’s in-house image signal processor and NPU. It will replace the stock ISP inside the 8 Gen 1 chip to improve RAW processing and photography.
