Oppo Find X3 Pro Featured in Early Product Mockups; Here is Your First Look at the Upcoming Oppo Flagship

Industry analyst Evan Blass first published the alleged specifications for the upcoming Oppo Find X3. He leaked the camera details, dimensions, display, and internal hardware. And today, the first product renders appeared online.

Posted on Twitter by the user @TheLeaks3, the mockups showcase the Oppo Find X3 Pro from different angles. And it’s a rather underwhelming design, so the validity of the leak is iffy (the phone leaker doesn’t have a long, proven track record either.)

If what we’re looking at is the finalized design, Oppo’s Find X series is progressively getting less imaginative. The original Find X had a pop-up system to hide the front camera. So it was a near edge-to-edge full-screen display. But with the Find X2, Oppo poked a hole-punch in it. And apparently, it’s sticking to that design. The Find X3 Pro also features a hole-punch in the corner of its curved screen.

According to Evan Blass, it’s a 6.7” panel that produces a QHD+ resolution at an adaptive 10Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. Find X3’s would be the finest display Oppo has ever made. And it's the highlight of this device. The upcoming addition to the oppo price list is powered by the ‘Full-path Color Management System’ that the company teased at the Inno Day event.

The rear shell of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is where the product renders don’t match up with what you’d expect from a highest-end flagship phone. It shows a cluster of five cameras, housed inside a squarish bump that sticks out the back. The camera design is as generic as it gets.

Also, notice the lack of a periscope-style telephoto lens. It seems unlikely that Oppo is adding two cameras and dropping the periscope module the Find X2 Pro had. The Find X3 Pro's competition, the upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra reportedly has a Penta-camera system with two telephoto lenses (one standard and the other periscope).

Mr. Blass’s report also contradicts the five-camera array seen here. He predicts a quad-camera on the upcoming Oppo Find X3 featuring wide, wide-angle, macro, and telephoto sensors.
