Oppo F21 Pro Features and Design Outlined; Here's What You need to Know

We’re only two days away from the official launch of the Oppo F19 Pro's successor in Pakistan (slated for April 11.) The pre-release campaign has teased the promos and features. And we’ll learn the pricing soon too. In the meantime, here is everything the Pro has to offer.

Design

The design is one of the most striking we’ve seen from the Oppo F series in recent years. The flat-edge frame is trendy; the casing of the Oppo F21 Pro has a soft faux leather texture, and the camera housing has a retro look.

You can choose from Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black colors. And with a weight of about 175g and thickness of 7.5mm, the Oppo F21 Pro has a featherweight footprint. Also, note the LED ring around the camera lens, which glows when you receive notifications.

Display

Turn the phone over to meet its 1080P 6.43” AMOLED screen. It has a high pixel density, a responsive touch sampling rate, a wide color gamut, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Oppo F21 Pro is also certified to protect your eyes from harmful blue light.

Camera

The O-hole cutout in this display contains a 32MP front camera. It's a new Sony sensor that captures 60% more light than the previous generation. We find a triple-camera setup on the back. It’s a cluster of 64MP f/1.7 wide, 2MP microscope, and 2MP monochrome sensors. The Oppo F21 Pro can shoot in AI portrait, HDR Selfie, and ultra-clear modes using this system.

Performance

The upcoming addition to the Oppo price catalog is powered by the Snapdragon 680 and a 4500 mAh battery. The Snapdragon 680 is a low-end but efficient chip.

33W SuperVOOC recharges the F21 Pro, which promises 2.6 hours of use from 5 minutes of charging. It comes in a single 8GB+128GB version, presumably starting anywhere above Rs. 54,000.
