Apple iPhone 17 Leaked in Five New Colors; Subtle and Stylish Look Incoming

The Apple iPhone 17 series will launch in September if the usual timeline persists. As always, the leakers have been relentlessly following this series throughout its production phase, and every now and then, the internet gets a scoop on the hidden details. Today, we’ve found five color options that might be unveiled with the base iPhone 17.

Whispers on the internet speak of a cleaner and more softened look for the base iPhone 17. The fresh leak we caught seems to report that there are at least five color options on it. Every single one has a soft pastel look, opposite to last year’s iPhone 16, which had a much more vibrant color palette.

The colors mentioned in the leak are blue, silver, black, green, and purple. The official names intended for the product marketing haven’t been outed yet, but they will soon enough as we get closer to launch. It’s typically the renders that give away the color and design of the iPhone, but this time, it’s the camera components leaving a trail of breadcrumbs.

ShiftDelete’s leaked photo featuring the camera rings of the latest iPhone model speaks volumes. These rings are supposed to match the primary paint job of their respective iPhones. You’ll notice that the Blue, Green, and purple hues are a bit dull here.

Sadly, dull colors are becoming a trend in the industry, especially with those of a flagship device. The less vibrant the colors, the less they matter to the customers, which is a convenient way to pull a buyer’s attention away from the design. Of course, the tech-savvy folks among you won’t be swayed by the colors alone, so let’s talk hardware.

We hear reports that the iPhone 17 will be getting an Apple A19 chip, which will be even better for power efficiency and raw performance. This device is also rumored to have up to 12GB of RAM, but we suggest waiting for more sources to testify to the fact.

Apple has already confirmed at the MWC 2025 that the iPhone 17 series will drop out of the pipeline with an iOS 26. The company is still testing the software, but you can expect some huge improvements with this OS. Stay tuned if you want to learn more about the series and the prospective hardware upgrades it might bring to the table.
