Xiaomi is introducing the Redmi Note 9 Series for the Pakistani market on May 31st though a virtual launch event at 5 PM. The company has also announced an exclusive bundle offer flash sale for the Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro at special Xiaomi Price tags, starting at 9 PM tomorrow. The duo will be joining the Redmi Note 9S which is already available in stores nationwide.

The Redmi Note 9 series shares a similar design language across the board – which has become somewhat of a staple look for 2020 Redmi models. The quad-camera is bound inside two different ring-shaped borders: a pill-shaped primary one and the second boundary in a squircle design.

Keeping this symmetrical look going, these two boundaries reside inside yet another housing. In Note 9’s case, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader is also part of the camera bump.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 display measures 6.53 inches and delivers an FHD+ resolution. It also embeds a 13MP selfie camera inside its punch-hole. The quad-camera on the back uses a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP lens array.

Redmi has picked an MTK Helio G85 processor for the standard Note 9 version and combined it with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Powering this entire setup is a 5,020 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a slight specification bump over the vanilla Note 9. It has a bigger 6.67-inch display featuring a centered punch-hole, a side-mounted thumbprint reader, and a Snapdragon 720G chip. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will not be launched in Pakistan.

As far as the Xiaomi prices are concerned, Whatmobile expects the Redmi Note 9 Pro to fall around 45,000 to 49,000 PKR while the Redmi Note 9 should carry a price tag of about 33,00 to 35,000 PKR.
