Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 was made official in China last month. But the adjacent Poco X8 Pro remains unlaunched. These two devices are identical, by the way. The Poco X8 Pro could be a rebrand for the global market. We just found this newcomer on the Geekbench database with key specifications.

The global Poco X8 Pro had other certification listings with the model code 2511FPC34G. And now that same number got listed on Geekbench. No, you won’t find the product name on the scorecard. But it’s almost definitely the Poco X8 Pro.

Now that we’ve established the phone’s identity, these are its specs. The chipset beats at 3.4GHz on the alpha core. And the other cores are divided into 3.2GHz and 2.2GHz clusters. This is the same configuration Redmi Turbo 5 brought to China. It’s the Dimensity 8500 SoC.

The listing’s source code says Mali G720 MC2. That’s more proof of its identity as the D8500 chipset. Let us break down the numbers here. We saw 12GB RAM on said listing. That helped Poco X8 Pro score 1708 points on the single-core benchmark. The points are higher on multicore. It hits 6297 points. Here are the latest Xiaomi Price catalog updates based on current listings.

We referenced these scores against other chipsets. Apparently, this D8500 silicon performs the same, if not faster than, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Or at least that’s the case for its CPU performance. The results vary on the GPU, though it’s almost definitely faster than the 8 Gen 1.

These kinds of scores are usually susceptible to the Geekbench app version. You have to account for the different results here. Anyway, this database listed Android 16 as the phone’s default operating system. It’s the Poco phone, so you are in for a Hyper OS 3.0 experience.

Geekbench had limited info. But there are reports of a 6.59” AMOLED screen for the Poco X8 Pro. It could be 120Hz with 1.5K resolution. The RAM is LPDDR5X, and the storage hits UFS 4.1 speeds. There’s possibly a 6,500 mAh battery on it with 100W charging. Keep watching the news for more updates.
