The Xiaomi 12 flagship series is headed to Pakistan following its recent global debut. The launch timeline is yet to be announced, but the official promos are already up on Xiaomi Pakistan’s social media pages. They tease the upcoming arrival of at least two Xiaomi 12 phones.
We speculate the duo will feature the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi adopted a more compact form factor for their base flagship model. The Xiaomi 12 has a 6.28” 1080P AMOLED screen. It rocks 1100 nits of peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10 content, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
The Pro model has an advanced 6.73” LTPO OLED that dynamically adjusts the refresh rate to save power. It hits a QHD+ resolution. Plus, Gorilla Glass Victus toughens both panels.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the most advanced and powerful chip, powers both the latest Xiaomi 5G mobiles. It’s hooked up to ultra-fast LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi 12 uses a 4500 mAh battery, while the Pro has a slightly bigger 4600 mAh cell.
The former can charge at 67W over the wire and 50W wirelessly. And Xiaomi ships the Xiaomi 12 Pro with hyperfast 120W rapid charging. It’s advertised to deliver a 100% recharge in just 20 minutes! Android 12 x MIUI runs on these phones out of the box.
For the cameras, the Xiaomi 12 Pro rocks three 50MP shooters designed for wide, telephoto, and ultra-wide shots. The standard model has a 50MP OIS-assisted primary lens, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP tele-macro sensor. Both phones have an identical design, available in pink, mint, blue, and black colors.
