After Vivo Y51s Launch in Pakistan, The Chinese manufacturer is set for the global launch of another Y-series phone soon. Vivo Y31 is an entry-level phone meant to compete with Xiaomi’s new line of Snapdragon-662-powered budget phones. Depending on its value, it may just beat Xiaomi in the entry-level segment.

Courtesy of MySmartPrice, Vivo Y31 promotional posters and specs were leaked. Each poster describes features without any mention of a price or the chipset. However, the Google Play Console documentation for the same phone confirms that it’s powered by the Snapdragon 662.

Just like the recent POCO M3 and Redmi Note 9T, Vivo Y31 also features a 1080P screen and 18W fast charging. Its side-facing fingerprint scanner doubles as the power button.

The three cameras of Vivo Y30's successor are neatly organized in Vivo's consistent layout — the primary camera on top and the other two cameras side by side. A 48MP sensor heads this setup. And it’s all encased in a squared-off camera bump. Vivo Y31 also has a namesake from 2015. But its simple, unimposing housing for its single-camera is a far cry from the new one. But the 3.5mm headphone jack is still available.

The Y31 features 128GB of internal storage and a 5000 mAh battery. And it has 4GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. Android11-based FunTouchOS. All these features identical to the Xiaomi models. The POCO M3 starts around Rs. 25,999, and if that’s any guide, you can expect the Vivo Y31 to have a similar price.

All over the world, certification agencies, NBTC, EEC, IMDA, and BIS, have signed off on the Vivo Y31. So its global launch is near.
