Vivo Y31s 5G Asian Rollout Begins Next Week; Pakistani Launch to Follow Soon

Vivo Y31s 5G is definitely a familiar name. That’s because a device with the same title was also released back in 2021. Safe to say they are rehashing the old version with a completely new look and modern hardware. The phone is apparently coming to one of the Asian markets on June 11, and we may also see the same handset in Pakistan after that.

The Malaysian official Vivo site was updated with the newcomer’s product page, and all the specs were brought forward. The phone is supposed to launch there next week. It’s a device with 8GB of physical RAM. And the only storage variant we found has 256GB built-in storage.

We have also seen this design before on Vivo Y31 (2025). There’s the same camera stack, two lenses, and an RGB halo light right at the bottom. This newcomer is apparently running Origin OS 6, which is actually Android 16 at the core.

The system is run by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, which is fitting because the 5-year-old phone used a Snapdragon 480 platform. 2.2GHz is the boost clock speed on the silicon, and you have a way better 4nm architecture. Vivo new 5G mobile even has UFS 3.1 storage.

The new silicon is actually perfect for the 120Hz IPS LCD that the new Vivo Y31s has. It seems that the phone has an FHD+ screen. The brightness of this 6.74” LCD is 1050 nits. There’s a punch hole on it, which is supposed to carry a 32MP selfie snapper.

The main camera is a 50MP outsole, next to a 2MP bokeh lens. As we said, this phone also has a multipurpose halo light. LED flashes are next to the camera. By the way, Vivo has put a BlueVolt 6500mAh battery on the new Vivo Y31s 5G.

The battery is quite huge, and the chip is efficient enough to make the Y31s last more than a day on a single charge. Speaking of, Vivo has wired the BlueVolt cell to a 44W charging kit. So refills will be fast. 1,499 MYR is the official price tag for Vivo Y31s 5G (8/256GB). That’s Pakistani ~Rs 104,000 (converted). They’ll keep the price in the ballpark in Pakistan. Keep watching the news for more updates.
