Vivo X Fold Schematics and Design Leaked; Meet the First Foldable Vivo Flagship

Ever since Oppo dropped their first commercial foldable phone, other BBK-owned brands are also preparing to enter the emerging foldable market. The X Fold, Vivo’s first foldable flagship, is rumored to launch before March ends. A source leaked the phone’s schematics ahead of this upcoming release.

Courtesy of the credible phone leaker Digital Chat Station, we’re looking at (presumably) the finalized design of the Vivo X Fold. It’s built on the same form factor as the Oppo Find N. Except here, the cover screen has a tall aspect ratio, and a single hole punched through its middle. Vivo has hidden a fingerprint scanner below this display.

The rear panel rocks a wide camera rectangle stretching across the foldable’s width. A circular housing in this platform contains what appears to be four lenses and an LED flash. It’s a cluster of 48MP ultra-wide, 50MP wide-angle, 2x 12MP telephoto, and 8MP 5x periscope lenses.

We’ll unfold the X Fold to reveal its flexible 8” QHD+ 120Hz display. The latest foldable Vivo mobile also features an O-hole cutout and a hidden ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

Everything runs on the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and a 4600 mAh battery (likely split-cell.) The Vivo X Fold reportedly offers hyperfast 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
