Tecno Spark 40 Series Headed to Pakistan Next; Ultra-Slim Designs, Long Battery Life

Tecno’s Spark 40 crew is about to land in Pakistan, possibly with three new devices. The Spark 40, 40 Pro, and 40 Pro+ were all released back in July, and they have well-rounded specs, each set at a different price point. The company dropped a teaser on Facebook to confirm that the trio is headed to Pakistan soon.

The priciest model of all and likely the centerpiece of this series is the Tecno Spark 40 Pro Plus. This newcomer has a paper-thin profile of just 6.5mm. Even though it belongs to the slim category, there are no compromises on the battery side as it features a standard 5200mAh cell.

The Pro Plus takes it a step further and offers users 45W wired charging, 30W wireless input, and a Bypass charging solution as well. The device has a curved screen on the front side, which makes it feel ergonomic. It’s a 6.78” 144Hz AMOLED with 1.5k resolution and 4500nits peak brightness.

The new Tecno Spark mobile is the only model in this series with a Helio G200 chip. Its front cam is 13MP, and the rear shooter uses a 50MP main sensor for photos and 1440p 30FPS videos. Sadly, there’s no audio jack on this phone or an SD card slot to expand the storage.

The second thinnest phone from this crew is the Spark 40 Pro, which is just 6.7mm in profile. This handset has the same 6.78” 144Hz AMOLED on the front with 1.5K resolution, but it is flat at the edges. The boxy design slightly adds to the thickness. It’s running a Helio G100 Ultimate chip.

The rear camera is 50MP, and you can take selfies with a 13MP front shooter. The battery size and charging speeds are also the same here at 5200mAh x 45W, but it loses the wireless charging option. By the way, the Spark 40 Pro is the phone to consider if you want a headphone jack and expandable storage, while still keeping the thin design.

Tecno Spark 40 takes a steep dive when it comes to features, but the phone is priced accordingly to justify them. There’s an IPS 720p display on its front side. This is a smaller 6.67” screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it uses an 8MP front camera for selfies. The rear camera is 50MP, and the phone uses the same 5200mAh x 45W charging combo as the others.

The vanilla Spark 40 brings the weakest chip among all, which is a Helio G81 (12nm) SoC. All these devices have the same IP64 ratings and up to 1.5m drop-resistant designs. The Spark 40 series is based on Android 15 and XOS 15 firmware. Soon, the company will tease the schedule and likely reveal prices by the time of launch. So stay tuned for updates.
