Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G is coming to Pakistan almost 8 months after the global unveiling. Their social media pages just confirmed the news. Only 3 days to go until the official launch, and now’s the perfect time to get familiar with its specs and features.

Its specs aren’t exactly a secret because the Pova Curve 2 is already on sale in many other regions. It has 5G hardware and mid-tier specs to go with it. Pova Curve 2 is built around a 6.78” curved AMOLED screen. 144Hz refresh rate is supported with FHD+ 1080p resolution.

The screen’s local peak brightness is 4,500 nits in isolated spots. But it does hit 1,600 nits in adaptive brightness. That curved screen will hide the bezels and make them look thinner than they actually are. Gorilla Glass 7i will shield it from scratches and scuffs.

We have a Dimensity 7100 onboard doing the heavy lifting with a 2.4GHz clock speed and UFS 2.2 storage. It’s not the best performer, but we do get 5G support out of it. Anyway, it’s not the performance, but the battery that will attract buyers. By the way, here is the Tecno Rate List which offers a quick overview of the latest Tecno mobile prices in Pakistan.

They’ve put an 8000mAh cell on the Pova Curve 2, which refills over a 45W wired input. It’s not a Si/C cell, but the phone is still 7.4mm thin somehow. Of course, the design itself is out of this world, with a right-triangular plateau for the lenses and a transparent window at the bottom.

It’s an IP64 build, safe from water splashes and rain. It even has 1.5m drop protection. There are two speakers for stereo audio. They’ve put a fingerprint scanner on the screen. And yes, the Pova Curve 2 does have an IR port and dual-band WiFi.

By the way, they’ve put a 50MP main camera on the back and a 2MP macro. It does 2K shooting. Pova phones aren’t exactly known for their photography anyway. The screen has a punch-hole where the Curve 2 has a 13MP selfie camera. They will reveal its price at launch. Keep watching the news for more updates.
