Infinix unveiled the Note Edge, and now it’s Tecno’s turn to release something similar. They haven’t said anything on the record, but an official-looking promo was just spotted on X. Tecno went with a Mars Rover theme for this year’s lineup design, and the POVA Curve 2 is believed to be the primary device of that group.

To be accurate, staying true to this leak, the theme is “Out of this World,” apparently. And the phone’s actual design has been inspired by the Mars Rover. The original Pova Curve had a Cyber Mecha design, and the Curve 2 isn’t too far off the original look.
You can tell from the video that they want to keep the triangular camera island on the back. Pova phones have always had bigger-than-usual batteries. This one has an 8000mAh cell. Google Play Console has confirmed that already.
There were more details on the listing, like the chip and RAM. We hear the phone uses a Dimensity 7100 platform. That’s something Note Edge and Pova Curve 2 both share. But this latest Tecno Pova mobile has an overkill RAM with 12GB of physical memory.

We also found some display stats on the same page. There’s obviously an AMOLED or OLED screen on it. This is a Curve device after all. It may have 1080p FHD+ resolution, but its specialty will be a 144Hz refresh rate. It’s still loyal to its category’s true purpose, which is gaming.

There was Android 15 on the last version. Pova Curve 2 will upgrade that to Android 16, with HiOS 16 as its user interface. The details have been scarce since the company has not officially teased the handset yet.
No matter the hidden specs, the rumor mill has still unearthed the phone’s alleged price tag. And the Pova Curve 2 could cost somewhere in the realm of $200. The real cost could be more or less than this. The last Pova Curve was $175 (~PKR 49,000) in the global market.
