Some rumors floating on the web predicted that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will happen on July 22nd in London to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 duo and Flip 8. There was no way to substantiate these reports, so the internet chalked it up to hearsay. There’s some new development on that front.
The date might be accurate after all. Samsung unintentionally hinted at it in a recent announcement. The Malaysian branch of the company wants to give its loyal fans a very exclusive MYR 700 ($171) discount on the next purchase of a Galaxy foldable phone.
The specific discount code will be sent to Samsung members only. The start date for when the code will be available is July 22nd. This e-voucher will stay active until October 4th to be used when buying the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Coincidence or not, the date for the e-voucher activation actually falls right on the predicted launch date for the Galaxy Unpacked event. This is proof enough to bet on a June 22nd launch for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra. By the way, here is the updated Samsung Price List in Pakistan for all Galaxy smartphones.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 is the wide or compact model that’s supposed to match the iPhone Ultra in size. They’ll put a 5.4” outer screen on the phone, and there’s possibly a 7.6” screen on the inside that has the perfect aspect ratio for YouTube videos.
Each screen is 120Hz and has its own selfie camera. There’s also a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip within, so it’s a flagship model by performance. And we hear the main camera among the two lenses is a 50MP unit. Keep watching the news for more updates.
