Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is a day or two away from the official launch. There’s a Galaxy Event on August 27th, possibly the launch venue for this newcomer and the Tab S12 series. Galaxy S25 FE has appeared in a last-minute leak today, which gave us an outline of what to expect from it.
It’s a collection of details we already knew about the handset from all the leaks and certifications over the months. The new report puts them all in one spot, though, so it’s convenient. We’ll do the same for our readers in Pakistan. This is everything you should know.
Exynos Upgrade
Galaxy S26 FE will definitely upgrade the chip this year, but it’s not a new version. They want to put Exynos 2500 on it. You can look at Z Flip 7 to judge its performance, because it’s the exact chip used on the clamshell as well. On paper at least, it’s a decacore 3.3GHz 3nm platform.
Same Battery, no Charging Upgrade
Anatel gave up the exact battery size. A 4900mAh cell is put inside the S26 FE, but it’s not the same battery type as the older phones. Charging cycles are way lower. It’s rated at 1,200 cycles, when the S25 FE has 2,000 cycles up to 80% battery health. But one charge lasts longer on the new phone (50h vs. 42h). The charging speed is still capped at 45W. Unchanged Frame and Display
The design has changed a bit on the camera, but the middle frame did not. It’s a metal build, possibly aluminum alloy, on which they slapped a 6.7” OLED at FHD+ resolution. Yes, it’s the exact screen we saw on S25 FE last year. The refresh rate will be 120Hz. By the way, S26 FE’s thickness is just 7.4mm, and the screen has GG Victus+.
Nothing changes on the durability side either. It’s IP68 (fully waterproof), the same as S25 FE. They are possibly mixing three colors for S26 FE. Blueberry and Graphite are the common ones. Pistachio is the hero color this time.
Existing Camera Setup & Higher Price
They still put a 50MP main camera in the middle of the stack and install a 12MP ultrawide above and an 8MP telephoto 3x zoom lens below the alpha unit. Again, the specs on paper look the same as the S25 FE. They are also considering a 12MP selfie camera for the newcomer.
They may have put a new type of sensor on the main camera so the S26 FE could unlock horizon lock support. MyFanCam will also run on this device. These bare-minimum upgrades somehow raise the phone’s cost by €50 at the base level. S26 FE (8/128GB) will sit at €800 this time.
