Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Schedule Leaks; Here’s the Full Roadmap

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was initially reported to Launch in April, but that clearly didn’t pan out. A recent leak suggesting May 13th to be the big day for the Galaxy S25 Edge was the second-best guess. Today, another source confirmed the same date for the device.

The news source from South Korea not only supports the alleged May 13th release date for Galaxy S25 Edge but also confirms that there will be an Unpacked event for it on the same day. This phone will go official in China and Korea on May 13th for starters, before reaching other markets.

After the launch, Samsung will open Pre-orders for this device on May 14th, and there’s a chance that the S25 Edge will be available for sale by May 23rd. According to the info we found on the news, the pre-orders in China and Korea will allow consumers to buy a 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB option.

From what we’ve heard so far, these are the only two storage configurations Samsung has made for the new Samsung Edge mobile. Of course, details are still pouring in about the device’s launch, but this is the most credible lead we have on the subject. Let’s wait and see if the leaked May 13th Unpacked event does pan out.

Samsung might feel hesitant to release this device globally. China is predicted to have the largest sales volume of all the countries, so it makes strategic sense to launch the device in the country first. The phone’s global expansion will depend on how the experiment goes in China and South Korea.

The company wants to test the waters in those countries to see the sales figures and public interest that will be the bedrock for Galaxy S25 Edge’s deployment in the global markets. There’s already anticipation for the device reaching the European Market and USA later this year.

An online retailer in Italy has already given the price figures for this device in the region, which leads us to believe that the S25 Edge will inevitably launch in that country and on the continent. As always, it might be pricier in Europe and could start at €1,362(~PKR 435,000). The prices in China and Korea will be comparatively lower. Samsung will be confirming the phone’s official launch any day now. So stay tuned for updates.
