Exciting news for Samsung Galaxy S23 series owners; a substantial update is now rolling out to all three models, including the standard, plus, and ultra variants. While Samsung is typically prompt in delivering updates, the OTA for this month has faced a slight delay, with the S23 series being the front runners to receive it.

The awaited new firmware brings multiple improvements and bug fixes to enhance the user experience. The June update is currently doing rounds in South East Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with expectations of availability in various other regions in due course. That also includes Pakistan.

The firmware version for this update is S91xBXXU2AWF1, with a file size of approximately 2.2GB. Naturally, the update also includes the June security patch. Please note that the firmware mentioned above may change depending on the region and device.

Samsung latest flagship mobile users can manually check for its availability by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Tap Check for Updates. Once available in the region, you will see the dialogue to install the update. As for the contents of the OTA, a Twitter user has generously shared a changelog outlining the improvements brought by the June 2023 update.

The enhancements encompass significant camera upgrades, such as the new 2x zoom option in the camera's portrait mode, addressing autofocus and HDR performance issues, and implementing a comprehensive overhaul of the night mode processing.

Furthermore, users can anticipate improved haptics, smoother UI animations and transitions, and enhanced system stability. The added June 2023 Security patch rectifies over 60 security vulnerabilities discovered in the company's tablets and smartphones.
