Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Receives One UI 7 (Android 15) Update in More Regions

It’s been a week since the One UI 7 update landed in Korea for the Galaxy S23 FE, and now Samsung has decided to expand it across several other regions. We are now seeing S23 FE variants from Europe and Asia receive the Android 15-based operating system. Pakistan might soon jump on the bandwagon.

Galaxy S23 FE’s new firmware in Europe and Asia can be identified by its build number “S711BXXU6EYDA.” The code will look more or less the same for other regions as well. This is a full software overhaul with multiple new features and an OS version update from Android 14 to 15, so be ready for a sizable download.

The new One UI 7 build we’ve spotted on Galaxy S23 FE in Europe seems to be a massive 4.5GB package. WiFi is recommended for the OTA update. If you want to see if this upgrade is available for your device, you can go to the Settings app and search for the Software Update section. Tap “Check for Updates.”

Upon availability, your Samsung FE new model should have a Download and Install button ready in the Software Update section. Tap on the button, say yes to the warning, and let the One UI 7 begin installation on your device. It might take several minutes to finish the update and reboot.

Once the device restarts, you’ll see an overhauled UI, new icons for native Samsung apps, and even a separate Quick Panel and Notification tray like the iPhones. Those toggles on the quick panel are bigger and spacious, and there’s a new volume slider in the options as well.

We have several more additions to the system via Knox security, and Galaxy AI brings a collection of assistive features, mostly borrowed from the standard Galaxy S25 family. Make sure to read the Changelog before starting the update to make sure what you are getting into.

This is only the second major update for Galaxy S23 FE, and there are still two more OS updates left after the One UI 7. For our readers in Pakistan, this is a reminder to check for updates on your device daily. The One UI 7 might land on your handsets any day now. Folks with other Galaxy phones should stay tuned as well. Samsung has several more devices on the list due for the One UI 7 update soon.
