Samsung Galaxy A72 Dummy Model Leaked; The Final Design is Note-20-inspired

Last month, Steve Hemmerstoffer of @OnLeaks published high-quality product renders of the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A71 successor aka the "Galaxy A72". The same model was later benchmarked. And it has now been featured in a dummy model leak, all but confirming the final design.

Featured in a clip on Pigtou’s YouTube channel, the Samsung Galaxy A72 in the shape of an aluminum slab is modeled after the Galaxy Note 20. The camera frame sticks out in the shape of a box. Four rings inside it house the cameras and the LED flash.

In contrast to the curved look of the Galaxy A71, the A72 has flat edges and squared-off corners. The upcoming phone’s model name is engraved into the metal.

Although this mold doesn’t feature it, the @OnLeaks report shows a thicker bezel in this year’s Galaxy A72. Plus, the hole-punch in the center is still there. The Samsung latest model 2021 be available in black, blue, white, and violet colors.

The screen, presumably OLED, extends 6.7” across. It has a built-in fingerprint scanner and likely peaks at full HD+ resolution. We flip the Samsung Galaxy A72 over to find a 64MP standard wide camera, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a pair of 5MP macro and depth units. A 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom, next to the USB-C port and speaker grille.

Inside the phone, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G is crunching the numbers. It succeeds the Snapdragon 730G chip from 2019. Galaxy A72 features 8 GB of memory and the Android11-based OneUI 3.0. Its 4G variant is to be priced around €450 in Europe. (European prices are always higher as compared to the Asian market) Upon its arrival in Pakistan, We expect it to start anywhere from Rs. 74,000 to 79,000 PKR.
