We are far into April now, and Samsung still has a long list of devices to update with the new patch. Samsung Galaxy A54 is next. They’ve started the April 2026 patch rollout in the home market in South Korea, and a native source shared its details. This is what we learned.
The patch notes had the firmware version A546SKSSGEZC2, but that’s a Korea-specific number. April patch, or at least its build number, will look partially different in other regions. This is something usually mentioned in the Changelog near the Download and Install button.
It will take a few days before they start shipping the new April patch to the global A54 devices, but it’s surely coming. The same goes for Pakistani Galaxy A54 owners. We are finally starting to learn about the contents of the April 2026 security update.
The update will install hotfixes for at least 47 vulnerabilities that were discovered between the last patch and now. Those aren’t all coming from Samsung, by the way. Google has sent 33 fixes on behalf of the core Android 16. They even had some fixes only meant for the Korean market. As of April 2026, the latest Samsung mobile prices are available in Pakistan, with the S26 series.
Anyway, Samsung’s semiconductor division also identified 4 weak points that can be exploited. The patches are added to the April update. One UI 8 is reported to fix 10 vulnerabilities that are present on your Galaxy A54 in the current firmware build. It’s a comprehensive update, so you don’t want to miss it whatsoever.
The exact date rarely gets confirmed by Samsung before they drop the update in any region. So the April patch will need manual availability checks. The Settings app has a Software Update menu. Tap there and hit Check for Updates to see if there’s anything new to download.
The phone will do a quick scan. Galaxy A54 will grab the update from Samsung’s servers when it’s unlocked in our region. All you need to do is tap the Download and Install button, and you are all set. The phone will take care of the rest. More devices are getting the April 2026 patch every day.
