One UI 5.1 is the default OS in Galaxy S23 phones. It is the next iteration of Samsung’s UI, following the three-month-old One UI 5 based on Android 13. The progression to the new software version entails multiple changes in the user interface, and Samsung Galaxy A53 and A33 5G have started receiving the update.

Samsung Galaxy A53 and A33 5G receive the OTA for OneUI 5.1 x Android 13 OS. The new firmware versions are A536NKSU4CWB3 and A336NKSU3CWB3, respectively. The download also includes February 2023 security patch to deal with newborn vulnerabilities in the software.

It is essential to mention that the update is only limited to A53 and A33 devices inside the South Korean market. We are optimistic that other regions will start receiving it soon; however, there’s no official word to confirm it yet. The same goes for Pakistani users. Samsung smartphone prices vary by region, so comparing models on the Samsung rate list is useful.

Phone variants from other global markets are sure to receive the OTA soon. To keep a lookout, users can manually check in the update center by going to Settings » Software update and pressing check. The option to “Download and install” will pop up upon availability. OneUI 5.1 may take a few days to reach A53 and A33 users in Pakistan.

Updating your phones to One UI 5.1, you will find minor UI enhancements and a slight performance increase. Both phones should feel more responsive. Nothing in the province on new features; however, the February 2023 patch has resolved a few security issues, ultimately securing the devices from data breaches. As the Samsung A53 retail price has soared to a record amount, A33 seems to be a far better option in Pakistan right now.
