Samsung Galaxy A53 Launched in Pakistan with Exynos 1280 SoC and 120Hz SuperAMOLED Display

The Galaxy A53 belongs to the latest string of premium mid-range from Samsung. It was globally unveiled on the 18th of March this year. But Galaxy A52's successor just landed in Pakistan. While the brand has yet to announce the device on its social media pages, the Galaxy A53 is already available in stores across Pakistan.


The all-new Samsung Galaxy A53 comes with a brand's very own 6.5-inch SuperAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The front has a single 32-megapixel camera inside a punch hole alongside an in-display thumb reader. The handset rocks thin bezels with a slice profile.

The 64MP wide primary shooter on the back features OIS, and you get 12 MP ultrawide + 5 MP macro + 5 MP portrait lenses alongside it. All wrapped inside the camera island that melts into the back panel. Other highlights include a microSD support of up to 1TB, an extended RAM (up to 8GB), and IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. on the flip side, there's no 3.5mm audio jack.


Though the company does not list the chip on the official website, Inside it is an Exynos 1280 processor. it's an Octa-core CPU based on built on Samsung's 5nm EUV process, in combination with 8GB of RAM and 128 gigs of built-in storage. The handset comes with Android 12 OS with OneUI 4 on the top. The internals runs on a 5,000 mAh battery. While the handset supports advanced fast charging, the power brick to leverage that technology isn’t provided in the box.

The Galaxy A53 launches today in four colors - Peach, Blue, white and Black, which are essentially soft mate shades. The new addition to the Samsung price list currently comes in a single 8/128GB version that starts at Rs. 85,999, while the 12/256GB tier can also join in later.
