Samsung continues to update more eligible devices with the brand-new Android 15 x One UI 7 operating system. The latest one to receive the new OS is the Galaxy A34, which was released back in March 2023 as a semi-premium phone. It’s been promised up to four years of Android support, and today’s One UI 7 marks the second annual OS version for Galaxy A34.
It’s late to join the race, but the day has finally come for Galaxy A34 to bag the One UI 7. This new update has been unlocked in South Korea first as routine. The other regions might have to wait a bit before the resident A34 users can access the new Android 15.
The firmware “A346NKSU9DYE7,” which has been spotted in the wild for the first time, is actually associated with a South Korean Galaxy A34 (model number SM-A346N). Business as usual, Samsung will continue to update this device in Korea before it springs to other regions, eventually dropping the One UI 7 in Pakistan.
The update seems to have a considerable size. It’s a 3.8 GB download. This new over-the-air upgrade not only has the new operating system deployed by Google annually but there’s also Samsung’s new One UI 7 skin on top, taking up the majority of the space inside the package.
Of course, like all preceding updates on Samsung new budget mobiles, a May 2025 security patch is also included with the new firmware, so the download size seems reasonable. We’ll keep the topic sentence to the changes in One UI 7 since that is the focus of the update well.
The Changelog should provide sufficient details about the new One UI 7 on Galaxy A34. Some of the obvious changes are in the skin’s appearance and presentation: New icons for the stock Samsung apps and a new style for the notification center.
Samsung has streamlined animations on this new operating system and optimized the software for better performance. If you are wondering how to access the update, check the Software Update section in the Settings app. Tap “Check for Update,” and the phone will let you know if your A34 has access to One UI 7. You will be given the option to “Download and Install” the update upon availability.
